Therapy here is structured, collaborative, and paced with care. You’ll work with clinicians who help you find the next right step, using evidence-based approaches that support lasting change.

Jhanelle

People start to heal the moment they feel heard

I earned my Master’s degree from Adelphi University and have worked across a variety of settings, including an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team supporting individuals living with severe mental illness. I also serve as a school counselor and work in private practice. These experiences continue to teach me about the complexity of the human experience and allow me to integrate thoughtful, effective, and culturally responsive care for each client I serve.

Direct Compassionate support.

Building trust with you, so you can listen to yourself and uncover your truest self.

Therapy that helps you understand your patterns, and change what’s no longer working.

MY APPROACH

If you’ve ever felt discomfort about how you’ve been responding to circumstances in your life; anxiety, depression, stress, or low self-confidence, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you experience transformation and embrace all of who you are.

What we'll do together

Name what’s happening

We bring clarity to your emotions and reactions so you’re not fighting yourself.

Understand the "why"

We explore how your past and present connect, without shame or minimizing.

Build tools that fit your life

Skills for coping, grounding, and boundaries, so change is sustainable.

Strengthen self-trust

I will often encourage you to listen and build trust with yourself.

A CORE BELIEF

“Our body and mind were designed to heal. Our journey is to help you uncover your truest self.”

When you share your story

it can be the beginning of your healing journey. Being heard and understood is something we all desire.

People start to heal the moment they feel heard

I am a dedicated and passionate therapist who believes in empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges through evidence-based strategies and personalized, compassionate care. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University (LIU), where I developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and supporting mental well-being.

A space where you don't have to perform

My approach is collaborative and client-centered, supporting individuals as they process trauma, build resilience, and move through life’s transitions.

Compassionate, evidence-based, and focused on meaningful change.

MY APPROACH

Here, you don’t have to perform. You get structured, evidence-based support and a clear path forward.

What we'll do together

Clarify the pattern:

We identify what’s keeping you stuck and how it shows up in daily life.

Process the root:

We work through trauma and past experiences that still affect the present.

Build resilience:

We strengthen coping, flexibility, and alignment with your values.

Practice the next step

Practical tools you can use between sessions to create steady progress.

A CORE BELIEF

"Each person’s journey is unique, and I strive to honor your story while helping you develop practical tools that support lasting change."

When you share your story

you won’t be rushed. We’ll move with care; toward clarity, steadiness, and a life that feels more like yours.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Collaborative therapy that honors your pace.

You don’t have to be “on.” You don’t have to minimize your pain. You don’t have to rush healing. We focus on meaningful, sustainable change, built through a strong therapeutic relationship.

  1

First conversation

We clarify what brings you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you want to feel different.

  2

Build the relationship

Feeling heard matters. We create safety so you can speak honestly and reflect without judgment.

  3

Tools + transformation

You’ll gain tools to support change, moving from where you are now to a more fulfilled life.

Ready?

Let’s begin with a conversation.

If you’ve been holding everything together and it’s starting to catch up, you don’t have to carry it alone. Your story matters.
